a 1998 article in High Times, the term "420" was coined by a group of teenagers in San Rafael, CA in 1971. They would meet up to search for an abandoned cannabis crop and their meeting code was 4:20 Louis, which means meet at 4:20 p.m. at the Louis Pasteur statue outside their school. It just snowballed from there
This is directly copy pasted from wiki so who knows hows true it is but it is always something I wanted to know and this works as much as any other explanation.. but this is all irrelevant since I no longer smoke and I'm up for no reason other than working on my music.. WOW.. I cant believe how much hidden music I had laying around my very cluttered desktop. School starts tomorrow/ later today for many HS kids and I wish you all luck on what you are about to embark on...
I am disappointed with today's youth. My niece and nephew whom I know to be fairly intelligent are still sub par in what used to be basic academics.. i can blame the school system all I want but I am sure you and I both had much less and made much more..WHY? we were hungry. we knew something wasn't right with the world and wanted to do something about it... The hunger is gone and with it the learning process.... teaching with no learning is not academics but conditioning.. I hope all that see this young or old have an opinion on this.
